Santa Barbara
The Santa Barbara, CA residence is a perfect example of Spanish Colonial Revival architecture with white stucco walls, red-tile roofs, exposed wooden-beam ceilings, and the use of balconies, arches, and towers in a symmetric designs. This home belongs to our years-long, vibrant clients who explicitly requested “colors and pattern!” for this second home and family retreat. With colorful Spanish-style tiles, chevron white oak floors, and wrought iron architectural elements, coupled with modern, clean-line kitchen finishes and fixtures, and a touch of Zen, we wanted to pay homage to the Spanish-influenced lineage at the heart of this home while bringing a new, modern flare.
